My church began the year 2024 with a series titled “Pause - From Rushing to Resting.” This series reminded us to pause and spend time with God first as the new year began. Instead of rushing into all the plans we had made for ourselves for the new year, we were reminded to rest in God first so that we could be rejuvenated to do the work that He wanted us to accomplish....
Revelation 4:8 and 11
During my study of worship that I talked about in my previous post “My Attitude”, I came across the worship of God by the 4 living creatures in Revelation. Revelation 4:8 says, “Day and night they never stop saying: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.’” I thought it would be really neat to take these words from these creatures and turn it into a song that I could sing during my personal time of worship....
My Attitude
We often treat worship and the singing of songs in church synonymously. I’ve always known that worship was more than just singing songs but I never really took the time to study it from Scripture. So I decided to study worship more deeply and go through every direct reference to worship in the Bible to better understand what it really means. I decided to take the result of that study and write a song about some of the things I learned....

In my last post, I talked about seeking boldness to share the good news of the gospel with those around us. But, one of the things that may hinder us from sharing our faith is not knowing what we should say. We may feel like our words are not eloquent or that we are just not good communicators.
